Privacy policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SIGN OF PAIN, operated by PAIN. LONDON LTD, registered at 71-75 Shelton Street ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit www.signofpain.com (the "Site"), make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at support@signofpain.com.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Order information: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and details of the products you purchase;
- Account information (if you create an account): name, email, password;
- Communications: messages you send us via live chat, email, or social media, including any videos or images you submit with a claim;
- Marketing preferences: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter.
Information collected automatically ("Device Information"): when you visit the Site, we automatically collect your IP address, browser type, time zone, device information, the pages you view, referring websites, and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Payment information: payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar). We do not collect or store your full card details; these are handled directly by the payment processor under their own privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, including sending order confirmations, invoices, and shipping notifications;
- Manufacture your items — as our products are made to order, order details necessary for production and delivery are shared with our production and fulfillment partners;
- Communicate with you and provide customer support, including processing claims, refunds, and cancellations;
- Screen orders for fraud and security risks;
- Send you marketing communications, where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email);
- Operate, analyze, and improve the Site, our products, and our advertising;
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer protection).
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Visitors)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process your personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (processing and delivering your order, customer support); legitimate interests (fraud prevention, Site analytics, improving our services, direct marketing to existing customers where permitted); consent (newsletter subscriptions, non-essential cookies); and legal obligation (retaining transaction records).
4. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only as necessary to run our business:
- Production & fulfillment partners: your name, shipping address, phone number, and order contents are shared with the facilities that produce and ship your items;
- Shipping carriers: to deliver your order and provide tracking;
- Payment processors: to process transactions and refunds;
- E-commerce and IT providers: our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which stores customer and order data on our behalf (see Shopify's privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy);
- Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok), to understand Site usage and deliver relevant advertising;
- Authorities and advisors: where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may qualify as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain US state laws — see Section 9 for your opt-out rights.
5. International Transfers
We sell worldwide, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers and fulfillment facilities operate. Where required (e.g., transfers out of the EEA/UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site (essential cookies), remember your cart and preferences (functional), measure traffic (analytics), and show relevant ads (advertising). Where required by law, non-essential cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings on the Site or your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. For more on how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Data Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as necessary to fulfill your order, handle claims, and meet legal (tax and accounting) obligations — typically up to [5–10] years depending on jurisdiction. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Device Information is retained in aggregate or for shorter periods as needed for analytics and security.
8. Your Rights (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to processing (including direct marketing); data portability; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@signofpain.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 30 days). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. US State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise these rights, including opting out of targeted advertising cookies, contact us at support@signofpain.com with the subject line "Privacy Request", or use the cookie settings on the Site. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@signofpain.com and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or social platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies separately.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
